Introduction to Surveys with the COVID-19 Indigenous App

In this interactive workshop participants will be introduced to and engage with the phone app, “Covid-19 Indigenous,” developed as part of the Kitatipithitamak Mithwayawin project. The project was created in response to the current pandemic by an indigenous-led team of researchers from the University of Manitoba and Occidental College in Los Angeles, the app allows First Nations Health Directors to collect real-time date from their communities by distributing multi-media surveys via smart phones and/or local area networks
